/ The Brief
A premium mahjong gift for Kirin Ichiban.
Kirin Ichiban wanted a standout free gift for its customers — a premium, genuinely usable mahjong set that carried the beer brand without feeling like throwaway swag.
It had to look the part in a presentation case and play correctly for a Malaysian audience.
How we built it
SOS Station designed the full set for Kirin Ichiban — the UV-printed aluminium carry case with the Kirin mascot artwork, and the custom mahjong tiles colour-matched to the brand and carrying the Kirin logo.
A real detail mattered here: Malaysia plays a three-player mahjong variant that needs specific extra tiles, so SOS Station built the set to play correctly locally, not just look good in the box.
