A custom bar mat for Kirin Ichiban.
Kirin Ichiban wanted a custom bar mat for on-trade bar use in Malaysia — a branded, hard-wearing piece for the bar top, not a throwaway giveaway.
It had to read as the Kirin Ichiban brand at a glance — the kirin mascot and the ‘100% malt, first press beer’ line — while standing up to spills and daily bar service.
How we built it
SOS Station designed the Kirin Ichiban bar mat from scratch — laying the kirin mascot artwork and the ‘100% malt, first press beer’ line into the mat surface, rather than dropping a logo onto a stock mat.
SOS Station then ran the project full turnkey, owning all eight production steps from sourcing through quality control and fulfilment on a single purchase order, and delivered the finished mats for on-trade bar placement.
